After studying at The Institute of Culinary Education, Brandon Spears got his start working in hotels as a front desk agent. During this time, he learned the ins-and-outs of the hospitality industry, including learning to be flexible, adapting to your team, and having a hand in multiple responsibilities at once. It was also there that Brandon discovered his true passion: restaurants. He made the pivot and joined the Union Square Hospitality Group where he learned some one of the most valuable lessons of his career – having a high level of empathy, not only for guests, but also in how his behavior affected those around him. Professionally, Brandon prides himself on authenticity and taking every opportunity to make an impact on someone’s day saying, “I am passionate about everything I do. My father always told me if you are going to do something, do it to your fullest capability. That's how I feel about working in the hospitality industry. Any of my friends and family see what food, beverages, and the experience of connecting with people does to me. That's when I am at my happiest.” While he’s not at work, the New Jersey-native can be found relaxing in Wakefield with his girlfriend and two cats.
